About us

At Sydney Speech and Language Clinic, we are passionate about all things words, language, and gestures.

Our mission is to share in your child’s communication journey and help them achieve their goals big or small together with you.

We proudly work with families, schools, and childcare centres across the Bankstown-Canterbury and Sutherland areas, providing accessible and flexible speech therapy services to our local community.

Meet the Team

  • Director and Principal Paediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (CPSP, MSPA)

Eva Yip is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and the Founder of Sydney Speech and Language Clinic, established in 2022. What began as a mobile service run from the boot of her car quickly grew into a thriving clinic, inspired by the meaningful difference Eva was able to make within the wider community and the growing need for accessible, high-quality speech pathology services.

Eva brings extensive experience supporting children and families across a wide range of communication needs. She is known for her warm, compassionate, and evidence-based approach, delivering individualised, client-centred care that is tailored to each child’s strengths, goals, and everyday environments.

Her clinical areas of expertise include speech sound disorders, early language intervention, school-aged language difficulties, social communication, fluency, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Eva works closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure therapy is functional, meaningful, and transferable to real-life contexts.

Eva is trained in a range of evidence-based programs and approaches, including PROMPT Therapy, orofacial myology, Sounds-Write, and Hanen – It Takes Two to Talk. She is deeply passionate about empowering parents and caregivers, embedding therapy into everyday routines, and supporting children to communicate with confidence across home, school, and social settings.
